Waipū is rich in Scottish history and plays host to many annual events including the New Years Day Highland Games and the Waipū in Tartan winter festival.  It has a thriving events calendar with the ever-popular Street Markets, Easter Carnival and the famous Christmas Eve parade which always draws a spectacular crowd!
