LET'S SHOP!

The Centre, Waipu offers many specialty shops as well as all the retail outlets you'd expect in a small town.  Its easy to spend an hour or two browsing the main street, checking out the vintage collection at Industry, stocking up on essentials at the Four Square.  You can pick up your Lotto and post a letter as well as fill up the car at the local GAS.

When its time to stop for a bite to eat you are spoilt for choice with a  variety of cafes lining the street.  If you are after something quick the Waipu Bakery and Lydia Sushi are always popular.

Bookending town are the Blackshed oppposite the Pizza Barn with their gallery and homewares and along the Braigh is the Red Door Gallery which showcases local and Northland artists.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month the boutique artisan market is on in the Coronation Hall with local goods for sale, and the ever-popular Street Markets are a great place to find gifts and curios on long holiday weekends.

Its not often these days you can live in a town where locals still refer to their Centre, the Braigh or the Village.

Thats why we love it here!
